Unmoved by the Gospel

We are concluding our series through the Letter’s to the Seven Churches this morning!

Throughout this series, as we’ve cast vision for Grace Fellowship to become a threat to the kingdom of darkness, Scripture has reminded us that such a calling requires knowing and guarding His standard.

I’ve asked us each week to listen, reflect, and respond to what Christ commends and corrects in these churches to prepare us for the fight we will also experience.

What we’ve seen unfold is Satan scheming to destroy the church family through persecution, complacency, and/or the seduction of our own sinful desires.

Remaining a true threat to the kingdom of darkness means being alert to these schemes and attentive to the things Jesus blesses.

Last week: The church in Philadelphia showed us that true strength comes not from ambition or worldly power, but from abiding in Christ. When our hearts are turned toward Him, humble and dependent, He opens doors that no one can shut.

Today, we arrive at one final warning, a message of utmost importance for us to hear and to heed.
