1. The preaching, teaching and study of God's Word which is essential for spiritual growth and transformation in individuals' lives and in the church. (Romans 10:12-15; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

2. The Lord Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. Therefore, the church should likewise make this a priority in their ministry. ( Luke 5:30-32; Luke 15; Matthew 18:11-14)

3. The norm for all believers should be to strive to know God better, to have a deepening personal relationship with Him as well as a whole-hearted devotion to Him. (1 Kings 11:4; Matthew 22:36-40; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 1:21)

8. The church should function as a community of servants who are responsible stewards of their gifts, resources and talents. ( Romans 12:3-8; 2 Corinthians 8:7; 1 Peter 4:10; Luke 19:11-27)

9. The church should be culturally relevant in forms of ministry while remaining doctrinally pure. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23; Psalms 119:89; 2 Timothy 2:15)

10. The Holy Spirit will empower and guide the church as it yields to him and follows his leading. (Ephesians 5:18; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:16-26; Acts 2; Acts 4:8-13; 31)
